All donations are made to the Altos de Chavón Cultural Center Foundation, the nonprofit organization that administers and manages CHAVÓN School of Design’s scholarship program. This foundation was specifically established to support arts and cultural education, ensuring that every contribution is directed toward the academic development of our students and the advancement of creative excellence in the Dominican Republic.
When you make a donation to the Altos de Chavón Cultural Center Foundation, you not only contribute to the education of future artists and designers, but you also become part of an internationally recognized institution committed to educational excellence. The foundation ensures transparent and efficient management of all scholarship resources, guaranteeing that your contribution reaches those who need it most and creates lasting impact in the lives of talented students.
All applicants as well as registered students in the full-time programs are eligible for financial aid. Scholarships for new students are based on artistic ability and financial need.
CHAVÓN offers several options of financial aid, such as payment plans, funding support and student loans through various Dominican entities, as well as a scholarship program bolstered by the Altos de Chavón Cultural Center Foundation. In fact, approximately 90 percent of our full-time students receive some form of aid, and about 70 percent receive need–based scholarships.
Every contribution (regardless of amount) goes to the Scholarship Fund, allowing more talented and committed students to access excellent education at CHAVÓN.
